Digging For Your Roots is a weekly column published in the Herald & Tribune newspaper's Genealogy & History page. The Digging for Your Roots column is written by JGS member volunteers as part of JGS's mission to promote, study, preserve, and document the family heritages of Jonesborough, Washington County, and Northeast TN.
