In Memory of...

On May 22, 2025, the Jonesborough Genealogical Society's president, Theresa May Bryant, passed away. Theresa was a native of Jonesborough, the daughter of the late Samuel Daily May and Anna Jane May (nee Brabson). She had her master’s degree in education. Her work with several colleges took her outside Tennessee before she retired and returned to Jonesborough.

Theresa was an inspiring member of our community and dedicated volunteer for multiple local non-profits. She was always willing to help and eager to share her knowledge and experience with others. She will be deeply missed.
